How This Role Fits into the Company:

Our company provides ongoing website support to clients, primarily through our sub-division WPSapphire. A select number of clients stay with Alchemy + Aim as key accounts. This position would work within both support divisions to provide excellent care for our clients and their website needs.

The Basics of the Account Specialist Position:

+ You’d be overseeing all technical support requests/projects and working with other team members to allocate resources for requests.

+ You’d be directly communicating with clients and helping them to clearly articulate their requests and projects. You would be communicating about timelines and costs, as well as explaining why some choices are made or not made.

+ You’d be coordinating all scheduling and timelines for projects.

+ You’d be responsible for keeping requests/projects on schedule, on scope, and on budget.

+ You’d deal with any escalated client issues.

+ You’d be preparing regular reports and documents to help streamline processes and improve communication.

+ You’d be supporting our technical team by making small content changes on websites.

This position is a part-time contractor position, expected to be 15-20 hours per week.

SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE YOU NEED:

  • Project planning and scheduling
  • Budgeting and financial management

  • Technical proficiency in WordPress and at least 2 years working with a website or marketing agency that did website projects
  • Ideally, some experience with website development and/or design
  • Flexible and able to balance multiple tasks

  • Can prioritize projects and requests
  • Considers bigger picture and broader impact of requests
  • Ability to see what’s missing
  • Comfortable working virtually

  • You don’t know what WordPress is, or have never worked on a website.

While this position is remote, we are looking for a candidate in North America or Europe who would be available during our standard operating hours (9am-5pm EST).
